Management Team

Jenny Hodge

Nursery Manager
Jenny has worked at Hearts and Minds for 8 yrs. She is a mother of two. Prior to working in the early years, Jenny worked as a High-Level Teaching Assistant covering all age groups in a primary school, where she supported children with Special Educational Needs. Jenny achieved her Early Years Teaching Status in 2023. Jenny has engendered a wonderful team spirit in the nursery alongside a passionate drive to maximise the full range of positive experiences for all who attend our setting.
Qualifications:
  • EYTS Early Years Teaching Status
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead - Level 3
  • Nominated Paediatric First Aider

Lindsay Thompson

Deputy Manager
Lindsay has worked at Hearts and Minds for 5 years. She has been in the childcare sector for over 20 years in various roles and working with all age groups. Lindsay achieved her NNEB qualification in 1996 and achieved her Level 4 in 2009. Together with Jenny, she encapsulates a child focused approach to nursery life. She is ultra positive, caring and dedicated.

Baby Room

Stacy Wright

Stacy is a mother of two. She has previously worked as a practitioner in our baby room and has progressed to become the room leader. Stacy supports Jenny and Lindsay to help with the day to day running of the nursery. She brings an unstinting desire to enhance our babies time at the nursery. She is driven, innovative and compassionate in equal measure.

  • Early Years Level 3
  • Nominated Paediatric First Aider
  • Designated Safeguarding - Level 3
  • Amazing Unique Babies and Young Toddlers

Amy Fanning

Amy has been at Hearts and Minds for over 3 years, having joined us as a student. She has matured into a popular and confident practitioner and is now a key member of the nursery team in the Baby room.

  • Early Years Level 2 Practitioner
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Safeguarding Level 1

Lily Price-Deleany

Lily joined Hearts and Minds in 2023, as work experience, in between her student life at university. She is a confident and natural practitioner with the children and has fitted seamlessly into the nursery family.
Qualifications:
  • Unqualified Member Staff-Graduate
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Safeguarding Level 1

Kerri Halsall

Kerri has more than 20 years of experience in the childcare sector and has held the position of nursery manager. Following the birth of her two young children, Kerri decided to remain in a childcare setting but to relinquish the managerial reins. She joined us as the nursery cook in 2023. Kerri has now decided to return to her first love and has joined our baby room where her knowledge, experience and nurturing personality have already endeared her to the babies and team.

Shauni Mullen

Shauni joined Hearts and Minds in 2024 as a student and is now a level 2 practitioner. She has worked with all the age groups and she is currently a member of staff in the baby room.

  • Safeguarding - Level 1

Charlotte Amriding

Charlotte has been working in childcare for just over two years. She started with us as a student and has developed into a valued member of the baby room team.

  • Amazing Unique Babies and Toddler Trained

Faye Coleman

Faye started at Hearts and Minds 2024. She recently became a mother. She is a confident and knowledgeable team member working in our baby environment.

  • Early Years Level 2 Practitioner
  • Paediatric First Aid

Toddler Room

Charlotte Moulton

Charlotte started with us as a student in 2018 and has worked with all age groups. She has settled into the toddler’s environment and has since progressed to become room leader in 2024. Charlotte works along side Natasha as the SENCO Co-Ordinator and supports Jenny and Lindsay with the day to day running of the nursery.

Sasha Crook

Sasha is a mother and she has previously occupied the role of deputy manager within a local nursery. She has a vast amount of knowledge and expertise around childcare and is the nursery Health and Safety co-ordinator. She is a key part of the toddler team.

Megan Hilton

Megan has been working at Hearts and Minds for over 3 Years. She started as a student and has worked in all areas of the nursery. She is now an experienced and confident practitioner and a key part of the toddler room team.

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Safeguarding - Level 1

Rebecca Buttler

Rebecca joined Hearts and Minds in 2024. She works in the toddler room supporting the room leader and is a valued member of staff. Rebecca is also a mother.

  • Safeguarding Level 1

Preschool Room

Kelsey Ward

Kelsey previously worked at Hearts and Minds until 2020 when she left to become a manager at another nursery. Following the birth of her child in 2024, she wanted to remain in childcare but not in a managerial role and so we gladly welcomed her back into the team. She is now our preschool leader, working closely with Natasha Price and supported by Chloe in the overall running of the preschool areas.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead - Level 3
  • Nominated Paediatric First Aider

Chloe Banks

Chloe has worked within the early years sector for over 12 years, 11 of which have been at Hearts and Minds. During this time Chloe has worked in various roles and rooms. She recently returned from having her first child and is now the room leader of the 3-year-olds and supports Kelsey and Natasha in the overall running of the preschool environment.

  • Nominated First Aider

Natasha Price

Natasha is a qualified teacher and as such occupies an integral role in our preschool area, supporting Kelsey and other team members. Alongside the manager, she is the nursery lead on the implementation of the nursery curriculum. Natasha also works alongside Charlotte as the SENCO co-ordinator. In addition to this skill set, she is a talented musician and is the lead on any of our musical productions. Finally, she is a mother!

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Level 1 Safeguarding
  • Nursery SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co ordinator)

Jen Hardy

As a mother of two and an experienced practitioner, Jen frequently leads children in innovative and active play experiences. Her creative approach to activities helps children develop physical skills and imaginative thinking.

  • Safeguarding - Level 1

Kayleigh Taylor

Kayleigh joined Hearts and Minds in 2024 as a student. She is gathering experience and confidence in all areas of the nursery and is already a valued colleague within the preschool team.

  • Safeguarding - Level 1

Liberty Haddon

Liberty has been with Hearts and Minds for over 2 years. She recently became a mother herself. She is a strong practitioner and will often lead the children in innovative and active play.
